About Me

I'm a features writer, drawn especially to people - how they make sense of things, and how things make sense of them.

I grew up in Dubai, which largely shaped the way I see things: a mix of cultures, contradictions, and constant movement. I think that sense of in-betweenness has stayed with me. Most of what I write sits somewhere in between personal and the cultural. 

Alongside my editorial work, I'm currently working on my debut novel, Tainted Glass.
